What area of AR do we focus on?

As a company, we primarily focus on the enterprise market, which we believe will reinvent routine tasks at work and help save time and money for companies.

 

Our application sphere is a modular Augmented Reality platform that covers the use cases of Remote Support, Augmented Collaboration and Workflow Support. It is the first functional ready-to-use Augmented Reality solution and does not rely on heavy and expensive customization.

 

The first module, EXPERT, was developed for any industry that is in need of quick maintenance and/or repairs. Whenever an employee needs help, a connection from their Augmented Reality glasses (such as the HoloLens)  to a business-own Expert on a computer can easily be established. After that,  EXPERT offers opportunities far beyond a simple video call: The audiovisual stream can be bidirectionally manipulated, with both participants being able to use a multitude of tools such as three-dimensional drawings or spawning documents, pictures, videos, or even 3D models.

 

WORKSPACE, our second module, enables the users to enter a new age of AR-supported collaboration. Enhance meetings with automatically converted CAD models, displayed in Augmented Reality, and explain your thoughts by freely placing files such as videos and documents anywhere in the room. Remote participants (who can be located anywhere on the globe) are represented by a life-like avatar for a real interactive experience. Should you feel the need to take the discussion to the actual site, our ’1:1 overlay’ feature helps you visualize your projects where they will eventually be built. WORKSPACE is especially beneficial for architects, as they can preview and modify 3D models of buildings that either are or not yet real.

 

Finally, the third module TASK can be used in any corporation relying on routine tasks and processes. Create AR checklists, guidelines, manuals or other documents in order to assist your workers and collect data such as time per step and error rates to help you find bottlenecks. TASK can mainly be used in maintenance, repair or diagnostics of heavy machinery, as well as visualization of live sensor data.

 

These are the modules of our standardized platform sphere. Nevertheless, there are many more purposes and use cases of AR. Regardless of their current uses, both AR and VR are technologies which are very powerful and very promising. After all, they can fundamentally change our attitude to computers and, accordingly, the way those are used.
